Dear Colleagues and friends,
It gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 30th International Meeting of the Pediatric Colorectal Club, which will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Izmir from 4th to 6th June 2023.
Izmir is one of the world’s ancient cities with its recorded history spanning over 8.500 years. It is the third most populous city in Turkey, after Istanbul and Ankara and is located on Turkey’s Aegean coast. Known as Smyrna in antiquity, it was founded by the Greeks, taken over by the Romans and rebuilt by Alexander the Great before becoming part of the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century. Izmir offers a great mix of cultural, historical and archaeological sites.
The International Meeting of the Pediatric Colorectal Club represents the most important annual event for all pediatric surgeons who take care of infants and children with colorectal disorders The 30th International Meeting of the Pediatric Colorectal Club aims to provide up to date clinical and scientific information on all aspects of pediatric colorectal diseases and malformations to practicing pediatric surgeons, pediatric urologists, pediatricians, pediatric gastroenterologists, nurses and patient support groups.
A combination of factors, such as a strong and innovative scientific programme, a comprehensive marketing campaign,, the undoubted appeal of Izmir as a meeting destination and excellent transport links to Turkey all indicate that PCC2023 will be a very successful meeting. The PCC2023 is supported by the Turkish Association of Pediatric Surgeons who are privileged to host their European and International counterparts in Izmir.
We hope that many of you will be able to stay longer and participate in the 24th European Congress of Pediatric Surgery, which will also take place in Izmir from 7th June to 10th June 2023
